			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Fantasia Jacket &amp; Top<br />
A feminine and fanciful jacket made from rectangular panels with triangular godets inserted between the panels to create a peplum for the waist. The Jacket can be worn open or buttoned, and a cross-over-and-tie version, suitable for a blouse is also included in the pattern.<br />
The back panel is flat, or for a more dramatic effect, a bussle-like option, with center back godets is included. Darts are included to accentuate the waist, but these may be left out, the look varies greatly depending on the fabrics used.<br />
This pattern includes Kayla’s unique seaming technique using a three thread roll-hem edge done on a serger and connected with a multi-stitch zig-zag stitch. Pattern also includes instructions for standard seams.<br />

A simple Kimono-style long jacket made for using with narrow fabric panels, such as kimono silks, or other elegant fabrics. Back mid-section has inset in center for unique fabrics or embellishments. Instructions include Kayla’s unique seaming techniques; roll-hem with multi-stitch zig-zag connections, or lined panels with bar-tac or bead connections, as well as step-by-step standard sewing instructions. This design is particularly beautiful made in cut velvet lined in silk, although can be made tunic length in a cotton or other more casual fabric.<br />
Pattern has two sleeve variations, on dolman style and the other a simple kimono shape.<br />

Panel vest is made of nine simple rectangle panels and lapel, the top with eight rectangle panels and rectangle sleeves. You can choose your preferred seaming technique from four different options:<br />
Lined, connected with bar-tacs or beads, using a straight stitch machine only (great for beginning sewers, but also an elegant look for the more advanced designer.<br />
Each edge finished using a three-thread roll-hem on a serger, then connected with either a multi-stitch zig-zag, or a bar-tac using a straight-stitch machine.<br />

The Top was created with  modesty and comfort in mind for the warm days of summer or enjoying your  favorite resort.  Designed using Kayla’s signature squares and  rectangles, finished either lined or using a roll-hem edge, then  connected with a serpentine stitch or bar-tac’s.</p>
